Roof Windows
There are a variety of different brand names for roof windows. They can be installed to most roofs and roof coverings. They come with aluminium flashing kits to allow them to blend in with the existing roof covering. Skyline Roofing Company always work to the manufacturer's guidelines:
- The roof covering is carefully removed where the roof window is going to be situated.
- Timbers are then fixed into place to match the existing rafters, but these are doubled up to carry the extra weight of the new window.
- The window is fixed in place.
- Flashing kits are secured into place.
- The roof covering is re-fitted around the window.
- Internal plaster-work is repaired to finish the job off.
